Weston Texas is a small north Texas town full of rolling hills, mature trees and fishing ponds. You are more likely to see flocks of folks riding bycicles along our curving streets and roads as you are to see traffic. With less than 800 residents calling Weston home, there is a much slower pace of life here. Downtown Weston is small, but adorable and hosts one of the best 4th of July parades you will ever see. You really need to plan to bring the kids to it this year.

Weston, The Hidden Gem of North Texas Real Estate

Located just north of McKinney, the small town of Weston has escaped the notice of home developers and large builders. Due to the fact that the developers were required to pay a hefty fee for water lines to be run, they decided to build in less expensive locations. Now that land in Anna, Melissa and McKinney is so expensive, Weston has become more financially viable.

Weston's rolling hills, mature trees and creeks will soon see a boom in new home construction and the neighborhoods that support them. Hopefully, the towns management will do a better job of controlling minimum standards for executive homes and neighborhoods. Time will tell if Weston can keep its charm of small ranches and luxury homes or gets covered up in high density neighborhoods and traffic jams.

Adamson lead the charge that helped create the explosive growth that was well documented in the local historical texts.

Today Weston is still a very small town, but is now surrounded by powerhouse towns like Anna, McKinney and Celina.
